MedicinesVertigo
Vertigo is the sensation that you, or the environment around you, is moving or spinning and is a symptom of several different conditions, rather than a condition itself. Other symptoms associated with vertigo include loss of balance, which can make it difficult to stand or walk, nausea or vomiting and lightheadedness.

Vertigo is most often caused by a problem with the balance mechanisms of the inner ear, although it can also be because of a problem within the brain or the nerves.

Vertigo attacks may be slight and barely noticeable, or may be so severe that you find it difficult to keep your balance and do everyday tasks and may last from a few seconds to several days.

There are a range of over the counter vertigo treatments available for adults and children, to relieve the symptoms of vertigo, although you should see your doctor if your vertigo symptoms persistent or you have them frequently.
