Skin Conditions

Relief of symptoms of dry or chapped skin.

Cream containing:
Emulsifying wax 0 -
Liquid paraffin 0 -
Petroleum jelly,white 0 -
Phenoxyethanol 0 -
Water purified 0 -

Dosage:
Adults, the elderly and children: apply to the affected area of skin as required.

Symptomatic relief of dry skin conditions, where the use of an emollient is indicated, such as flaking, chapped skin, ichthyosis, traumatic dermatitis, sunburn, the dry stage of eczema and certain dry cases of psoriasis.

Emollient cream containing:
White soft paraffin 14.5 %w/w
Light liquid paraffin 12.6 %w/w
Hypoallergenic anhydrous lanolin 1 %w/w

Dosage:
Adults and children: apply liberally 2 or 3 times daily to the affected area.

Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Clear colourless solution with a banana odour containing per 5ml:
Cetirizine hydrochloride 1 mg

Dosage:
Adults and children 6 years and over: 10ml once daily or 5ml twice daily. If drowsiness occurs, the solution can be administered in the evening. Children under 6 years: not recommended.

Symptomatic relief of chickenpox itch and allergic conditions including hayfever, vasomotor rhinitis, urticaria, food allergy, drug and serum reactions and insect bites.

Syrup containing per 10ml:
Chlorphenamine maleate 4 mg

Dosage:
Adults: 10ml 4-6 hourly. Children 6-12 years: 5ml 4-6 hourly. 2-5 years: 2.5ml 4-6 hourly. 1-2 years: 2.5ml twice daily. Not recommended under 1 year.
