Aptamil Growing Up Milk Powder 1-2 Years

Aptamil Growing Up Milk Powder 1-2 Years with Pronutra-ADVANCE is nutritionally tailored to your toddler's stage of development.

Inspired by 40 years of research in early life science, Aptamil Growing Up Milk Powder 1-2 Years is a patented next generation formulation with GOS/FOS (9:1) (a patented blend of Galacto- and Fructo-oligosaccharides) and includes:

  • Calcium and vitamin D to support normal growth and bone development. Vitamin D also support the normal function of the immune system.
  • Iron to support normal cognitive development
  • Omega-3 (DHA) to support normal visual development.
Aptamil Growing Up Milk Powder 1-2 Years is Halal approved but is not suitable for a vegetarian or vegan diet.

Important feeding instructions
  • Make up each drink as required
  • For hygiene reasons, do not store made up drinks and discard unfinished drinks as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours
  • Do not heat drinks in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding
  • Toddlers should be supervised at all times when feeding
  • Do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of drinks with your toddler’s teeth as this increases the risk of tooth decay
How to prepare Aptamil Growing Up Milk from powder
Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your toddler ill.
  • Step 1Measure 150ml or 5fl.oz boiled, cooled water into a clean beaker.
  • Step 2Using the scoop provided, add 5 levelled scoops of powder into the beaker. Do not press/heap the powder.
  • Step 3Shake the beaker vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds until dissolved. Rolling the bottle or shaking in circles will not be sufficient.
  • Step 4Check temperature and give to toddler to drink immediately.
How to prepare a powdered formula feed without tap water

It's important to be careful with the water you use to prepare a milk formula if your normal drinking water supply is either interrupted or contaminated. Follow these Food Standards Agency guidelines to make sure you prepare the formula safely.
  • Step 1Use bottled water or water from a bowser (a water tank provided by water companies) and bring it to a rolling boil. Leave it covered to cool for no more than half an hour.
  • Step 2If there's no electricity or gas to boil with, bottled table, spring or mineral water can be used and the prepared formula should be used immediately. The use of unboiled bowser water should be avoided.
  • Step 3Some bottled water labelled as 'natural mineral water' may have high levels of sodium or sulphate. Read the label carefully and check that the figure for sodium (Na) is not higher than 200mg per litre and sulphate (SO or SO4) is not higher than 250mg per litre. If it is, then try to use another water. If no other water is available, then use this water for as short a time as possible.
  • Step 4Follow the normal instructions for making up the formula.
Lactose (from milk), Vegetable oils (Palm oil, Rapeseed oil, High oleic sunflower oil, Coconut oil, Sunflower oil), Whey products (Demineralised whey, Whey concentrate) (from milk), Skimmed milk, Maltodextrin, Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) (from milk), Calcium phosphate, Potassium citrate, Potassium hydrogen phosphate, Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), Fish oil, Magnesium citrate, Emulsifier (soy lecithin), Potassium chloride, Vitamin C, Calcium carbonate, Sodium chloride, Milk flavouring, Sodium citrate, Ferrous sulphate, Magnesium chloride, Choline chloride, Inositol, Taurine, Zinc sulphate, Vitamin E, Pantothenic acid, L-carnitine, Nicotinamide, Riboflavin, Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B6, Thiamin, Copper sulphate, Potassium iodide, Folic acid, Vitamin K1, Manganese sulphate, Sodium selenite, Biotin, Vitamin B12.
