Remescar Silicone Scar Stick

Remescar Silicone Scar Stick is an effective treatment for both old and new scars, including those caused by minor injury, surgery, burns, acne, bug bites and laser treatment, and can also be used on stretch marks.

Remescar Silicone Scar Stick aids the healing process by releasing a thin, invisible silicone-based film over the scar to create a suitable healing micro-environment, while also maintaining the skin's natural moisture balance. It smoothens and softens the scar tissues and helps to restore the skin to a normal colour and texture as well as relieving burning, tingling and itching sensations.

Remescar Silicone Scar Stick is suitable for all areas of the body, including the face and can even be worn under make up. The convenient stick applicator makes it easy to use wherever you are.

Remescar Silicone Scar Stick contains a patented composition that includes 3 ingredients clinically proven to have a beneficial effect on scars:
  • Silicone film shield: This hydrates, protects and restores the upper layer of the skin and stimulates collagen production. It increases the scar elasticity and reduces the redness and itching.
  • β-glucan: This has strong calming, protective, and hydrating properties and is also an excellent film former. The combination of β-glucan with polymeric film formers such as PVP (Polyvinyl pyrrolidone) and PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) helps to accelerate the wound healing process.
  • UV filters: Contains powerful UV-A and UV-B filters, as it is widely known that scars need to be protected from UV radiation.
Katie Piper, the young lady who attacked with acid in an incident instigated by her ex-boyfriend in 2008, has become the new ambassador for Remescar after using the cream to treat her own burns and scars. She says "After using Remescar I noticed a difference not just in the appearance of my scars but the texture too. It also fits in really well with my lifestyle, I use it before applying my make-up and it has become part of my daily routine."

  • The scarred area should be closed, clean and dry.
  • At first time use, open the stick and remove the protective cap.
  • Apply gently to the affected area and around the border of the scar.
  • Do not rub too hard as this will not increase the effectiveness.
  • Apply twice a day for 2 to 3 months.
