Fresubin 2kcal Crème

Fresubin 2kcal Crème
 is a flavoured, semi-solid dessert style nutritional supplement that is high in protein and energy, providing 2kcal/ml. It consists of protein (milk) vegetable oils (sunflower and rapeseed oil), carbohydrates (sucrose, maltodextrin and starch), fibre (inulin) vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Fresubin 2kcal Crème is indicated for: short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished, patients with proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, disease related malnutrition, dysphagia, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and haemodialysis.

Fresubin 2kcal Crème is ready to eat and is available in a range of five delicous flavours: vanilla, wild strawberry, cappuccino, praline and chocolate - simply choose your favourite flavour(s) above.

The dosage of Fresubin 2kcal Crème should be calculated by a clinician or dietitian according to individual requirements. As a guide, 4 x 125g pots per day will provide 50g protein, 1000kcal and meets the average adult recommended daily requirements1 for vitamins and trace-elements.

 is lactose and gluten free.
  • Not for parenteral use.
  • Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted.
  • Not suitable for infants under 3 years of age.
  • Use with caution in children under 5 years.
  • Only to be used under medical supervision
  • Store in a cool place, do not store above 25°C.
  • Once opened, can be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator.
