Unicough Oral Solution

Unicough Oral Solution
provides symptomatic relief from common coughs, including dry and/or tickly coughs and chesty coughs. It may also be used to aid restful sleep.

Unicough Oral Solution is a unique cocoa formulation that thickly coats the throat, calming the irritated nerves that cause your uncontrollable urge to cough. It contains three active ingredients:
  • Diphenhydramine hydrochloride: An antihistamine that suppresses the urge to cough and dries up secretions in the nose and chest. Taken at night will assist sleeping.
  • Ammonium chloride: An expectorant that helps loosen phlegm and catarrh.
  • Levomenthol: Relieves the discomfort of congestion and also provides a cooling effect in mouth and throat.
Unicough Oral Solution is supplied with a plastic measuring spoon for convenience.
Adults and children from 12 years:
  • Shake well before use.
  • One to two 5ml spoonfuls of Unicough Oral Solution to be taken every 4 hours.
  • To aid sleep, take two 5ml spoonfuls at bedtime followed by two 5ml spoonfuls every 6 hours if needed.
  • Do not take more than 4 doses (one dose = two 5ml spoonfuls) in 24 hours.
  • Active Ingredients (per 5ml): Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 14mg, Ammonium chloride 135mg and Levomenthol 1.1mg.
  • Other Ingredients: Sucrose, cocoa flavour, glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium citrate, preservatives (E218, E215, E216 and butyl hydroxybenzoate) and water.
