Mepilex Border Lite Dressings minimise trauma to the wound and pain to the patient during dressing changes. The Safetac technology prevents Mepilex Border Lite Dressings from sticking to the wound bed yet adheres gently to the surrounding skin. Mepilex Border Lite Dressings are ideal for those locations where a thin self-adherent dressing is required. It is a very conformable and gentle alternative to other thin adhesive bordered dressings.
Mepilex Border Lite Dressings are suitable for a wide range of non to low exuding wounds such as:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Wounds with comprised/fragile surrounding skin
- Painful wounds
- Acute wounds
- Surgical wounds
Clean the wound area. Remove the release film. Apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch.
