Pollenshield Hayfever Tablets

Pollenshield Hayfever Tablets contain cetirizine hydrochloride, a one-a-day antihistamine that provides relief from the symptoms of hayfever (runny and blocked-up nose, sneezing, watery eyes). They also relieve long-term runny nose and watery eyes and skin allergies where there are pale or red irregular raised patches and severe itching.
  • Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and over: Swallow one tablet (10mg) a day with water.
  • Children aged 6 to 12 years: Swallow half a tablet (5mg) twice a day with water.
  • Children aged under 6 years: Not recommended.
  • Active Ingredient: Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg.
  • Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose (E460), Lactose Monohydrate, Crospovidone, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Hypromellose (E464), Macrogol Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide (E171).
  • In most people, Pollenshield Hayfever Tablets do not cause drowsiness. However there are rare exceptions and you should take care when using this product for the first time. If this product makes you feel drowsy, do not drive or operate machinery.
  • As with all antihistamines, it is advisable to avoid excessive alcohol consumption when using this product.
  • If you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine, as it contains a type of sugar called lactose.
Do not take Pollenshield Hayfever Tablets if you:
  • Are allergic (hypersensitive) to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, any piperazine derivatives or any of the other ingredients in Pollenshield Hayfever.
  • Have severe kidney problems.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Pollenshield Hayfever Tablets if you:
  • Have epilepsy.
  • Are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, obtained with or without a prescription.
  • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
