Zovirax Cold Sore Cream
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is used to treat cold sores on the lips or face. Clinical studies show that if Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is applied at an early stage it can stop the cold sore from forming. It has also been shown that Zovirax Cold Sore Cream speeds up the healing process for cold sores that have already formed.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is Aciclovir (5% w/w). The other ingredients are Dimeticone, Propylene Glycol, Poloxamer 407, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, White Soft Paraffin, Liquid Paraffin and Purified Water
Directions
Adults and children: apply 5 times daily for 5 days starting at first sign of a cold sore (blister or tingle stages). If healing has not occured continue for a further 5 days.
