LBF Sterile No Sting Barrier Film Spray forms a transparent breathable barrier over the skin to provide long lasting protection against corrosive bodily fluids that can cause skin to become red and sore, such as urine, faeces, digestive enzymes and sweat. Made from healthcare grade silicones, it protects both intact and broken peristomal skin and also helps to prevent the sticky adhesive on stoma pouches from causing irritation or damage during removal.

LBF Sterile No Sting Barrier Film Spray provides an ideal surface for the adhesion of stoma pouches and as it dries rapidly, the pouch can be applied within seconds

LBF Sterile No Sting Barrier Film Spray is alcohol free so does not sting even on sore skin and the skin friendly formula is also free from latex, preservatives and fragrances. There is no cold sensation upon application and it can be sprayed at all angles including upside down.

LBF Sterile No Sting Barrier Film Spray is so gentle on skin it can be used as often as required. Ensure skin is clean and dry before use.
  • Skin should be clean and dry prior to application.
  • Hold the spray nozzle 10-15cm (4-6 inches) from the skin.
  • Apply a smooth, uniform coating of film over the intended area, whilst moving the spray in a sweeping motion.
  • LBF Sterile Barrier Film dries quickly. Once dried, it will not affect any further adhesion of appliances.
