Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets

Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets are an effective treatment for migraine that starts to relieve the headache in just 30 minutes and also relieves nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Unlike simple painkillers, they work on the root cause of the migraine rather than just the symptoms to relieve your migraine. Migraine symptoms may be caused by the swelling of blood vessels in the head due to a temporary imbalance in the body's natural chemicals. The active ingredient in Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets, sumatriptan, restores balance and reduces the swelling of the blood vessels to provide relief.

Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets come with a handy carry case that can fit into a handbag, wallet or pocket so you can have your tablets to hand to take at the first sign of symptoms.

Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets should only be taken by adults aged 18 to 65 who have an established and stable pattern of migraine that has been diagnosed by a doctor or pharmacist and whose migraines have not been relieved by over-the-counter painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen on three occasions.
Adults aged 18-65 years:
  • Take one tablet as soon as possible as the first signs of a migraine headache.
  • If your symptoms start to come back, you can take a second tablet after 2 hours. You must leave at least 2 hours after the first tablet.
  • Swallow each tablet whole with water.
  • Do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Do not take more than 2 tablets for the same attack.
  • If the first tablet does not provide any relief, do not take a second tablet.
  • Active Ingredient: Sumatriptan (as the succinate) 50mg.
  • Other Ingredients: Anhydrous Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Hypromellose (E464), Titanium Dioxide (E171), Triacetin and Iron Oxide Red (E172).
  • If you use Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets too often, it may make your headaches worse. If this happens, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist who may tell you to stop taking these tablets.
  • You should await at least 24 hours before taking a medicine containing a triptan or at least 6 hours before taking a medicine containing ergotamine or methysergide.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking any more Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets. Getting no relief from these tablets may mean that you do not have a migraine.
  • Either the symptoms of migraine or your medicine may make you drowsy. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
Do not take Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets:
  • Unless you suffer from migraines (a doctor or pharmacist needs to confirm this).
  • If you are trying to prevent a migraine attack - only take it when your headache begins.
  • Until you are sure that this is a migraine and not just a headache.
  • If you are under 18 or over 65.
  • If you are allergic to sumatriptan, or to any of the other ingredients in this product or to sulpohnamide antibiotics.
  • If you have heart problems including heart failure, a previous heart attack, angina or an irregular heart beat.

  • If you are pregnant, could be pregnant or are breastfeeding, unless you've agreed it with your doctor.
Do not take Imigran Recovery 50mg Tablets with the following medications:
