Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches

Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches target the source of pain to provide effective pain relief and support the naturally healing of the area. This class II medical device can be used to provide relief from arthritis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, lower and upper back pain, migraine headaches, runner's knee, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle spasm, tendonitis, acute pain from injury, sports injury, bursitis, swelling and inflammation, hip pain, leg cramps and more.

The human body uses low levels of electric currents (one-millionth of an Ampere, called a micro-current) made inside the body cells to provide power for the body. Injured cells resist the body's natural micro-current, which causes it to take the path of least resistance around the area of injury rather than through it, preventing the supply of blood, oxygen and vital nutrients to the injured cells and causing pain and slowing down the healing process. Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches work by providing low-level electrical stimulation to the affected area, closely mimicking the human body's natural current. This is not enough to be felt, but is sufficient to help the injured cells produce more energy and resume their proper functions, thus accelerating the healing process. This cell-regenerative capability may also gently assist in the rehabilitative care of stroke, Parkinson's disease, and motor neuron patients.

Low-level electrical stimulation has been used for years by athletic trainers and physical therapists to relieve pain, but traditionally these treatments were administered in a office using a large machine. Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches revolutionise the treatment by delivering 24-hour pain relief that can be worn discreetly under your clothing.

Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches contains a battery that typically provides up to 300 hours of use and the patches can be reused 5-10 times, although it is for single patient use only - sharing the patches is not advised. When the battery runs out, a new pack will need to be purchased.

As Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches provide drug-free pain relief, they can be used in conjunction with pain medication.

Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches are recommended by Dr Chris Steele MBE, the resident doctor on ITV's This Morning.

Painmaster Micro Current Therapy Patches contains:
  • 1 x Micro Current Controller.
  • 1 x Set of 2 Patches
  • Clip excess hair from painful area. Wash area with soap and water and dry completely.
  • Remove the patches from the clear plastic backing. Save the backing for storing the patches after use or in between treatments.
  • Patches should be placed above and below or on either side of the painful area. Leave slack in the wire to allow for comfortable movement.
  • Place patch and hold in place for 10 seconds. The blinking red light means treatment is occuring.
  • After three days of continuous use, the patch should be removed for one to two days.
  • To clean patches, rinse gel side with a small amount of warm water and let dry completely. Do not sterilise or disinfect.
  • Patches can safely remain in place while showering but the gel should be protected from the water.
  • Removing the patches for bathing will extend their life.
  • Remove by pulling each one gently with the tab.
  • Store on the correct side of the plastic backing which came with the patches.
  • After showering, completely dry your skin and reapply. If the patches have lost their stickiness, simply rinse the gel sides with warm water and allow them to air-dry before reapplying.
