Care Haemorrhoid Relief Suppositories
relieve the pain and irritation of piles. The double action formula contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, to relieve the pain and allantoin to help heal the affected area.
Adults and children aged over 12 years: Insert one suppository at night and in the morning after empying the bowels.
  • Wash your hands before and after use.
  • If necessary empty the bowels before use.
  • Remove the protective film before use by tearing the strip at the notch or by cutting around the suppository.
  • Insert the suppository as deep as possible into the rectum.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years unless your doctor tells you to.
If symptoms persist for more than 7 days ask your doctor for advice.
  • Active Ingredients: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 10.25mg and Allantoin 10.25mg.
  • Other Ingredients: Colloidal Silicone Dioxide, Witepsol and Purified Water.
Do not use Care Haemorrhoid Relief Suppositories:
  • If you have an allergy to any of the ingredients.
Talk to you doctor or pharmacist before using Care Haemorrhoid Relief Suppositories if you:
  • Have persistent pain or bleeding from the anus especially if your bowel habits have changed.
  • Have a swollen stomach.
  • Have lost weight without dieting.
  • Are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding. If used whilst breastfeeding, lidocaine can be absorbed and pass into breast milk.
