Gaviscon Original Liquid which is Aniseed flavouroured brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. It can be used to treat gastric reflux, (a condition in which the acid stomach contents flow upward into the foodpipe)and related conditions such as hiatus hernia, oesophagitis reflux (inflamed foodpipe) and flatulence caused by gastric reflux.Ingredients
Each 5 ml contains the active ingredients Sodium Bicarbonate (133.5 mg), Calcium Carbonate (80 mg) and Sodium Alginate (250 mg). The other ingredients are carbomer, methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, fennel flavour, erythrosine and water.
Directions
Adults: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime.
Children 6-12 years: 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
2-6 years: should only be given medical advice.
