Recommended as a laxative and as an antacid for the relief of upset stomach, indigestion and biliousness.
Effervescent powder containing:
Sodium bicarbonate 22.6 %w/w
Magnesium sulphate 17.4 %w/w
Citric acid (anhydrous) 19.5 %w/w
Dosage:
Adults and elderly: (Antacid) 1 level 5ml spoonful in water up to 4 times a day. (Laxative) 2 level 5ml spoonfuls in water before breakfast or at bedtime. Children over 3 years: half the adult dose. Not recommended.
