MorEPA (minimum 580 EPA formula + Orange) is a highly concentrated EPA food supplement (min 580 mg EPA), which is supplemented with lipid stabilising anti–oxidants. MorEPA capsules are tasty and chewable. This makes them suitable for people who do not like the fishy taste of normal fish oil capsules, or for people who have difficulty swallowing pills.

The richest and purest source of Omega 3 EPA fish oil you can buy. One 1,000 mg capsule contains an unbeatable (minimum 580 mg EPA (approx) and 88 mg of DHA (approx) pure essential Omega 3 fatty acids.

Our unique patented filtration and chilling process removes any possible traces of potentially harmful elements such as Mercury and other toxins. The fish oil used is derived only from fish caught in deep sea water, which is then frozen to 50 degrees centigrade for four weeks to ensure ultimate purity. No farmed fish is ever used in the production of MorEPA.

Our process ensures that the active ingredients remain fresh and an additional enzyme treatment means our capsules are free from odour and any unpleasant fishy taste thanks to the addition of natural orange.

Just one capsule per day gives you the entire Omega 3 EPA you need. Instead of taking three to five capsules of fish oil a day, you only have to take one single capsule of MorEPA. This means you can avoid the surplus fat that you would get from consuming ordinary fish oil.

Detailed Description

High Purity, Less Unnecessary Fat

Ordinary fish oil consists of 30% of omega–3 fatty acids that are valuable, and 70% of surplus fat.

500mg to 1000mg is the recommended daily amount of omega–3 fatty acids, so to achieve this you would need to take 1500mg to 3000mg of ordinary fish oil a day (i.e. 3 to 6 small oil capsules, or 1.5 to 3 large oil capsules). The unnecessary fat simply increases the number of capsules you need to take and adds to your calorific intake... and may even have unwanted side effects (e.g. diarrhea, flatulence etc.)

MorEPA fish oil softgels, on the other hand, contain highly purified omega–3 fatty acids with a total of more than 78%... Which Means that:

...the superfluous fat intake compared to fish oil can be reduced, and instead of three to five capsules you need only one MorEPA softgel.

If you prefer to eat a daily portion of fish as your sole source of EPA/DHA, then in order to reach 800mg of EPA/DHA (as recommended in a 2400 kcal diet), you would need to consume around 230 grams of oily fish or 860 grams of ordinary fish to reach this quantity.

Advantages using CO2 Extraction MorEPA

Super Critical Difference: All oils are processed at 400% less heat than molecularly distilled brands, with no oxygen exposure or use of harsh solvents like hexane. This maintains the integrity of Omega–3 fats.

Highest Concentration: The highest concentrated Omega–3 fatty acids on the market mean you only need to take 1 gel cap, not 4 to 10 gel caps per day or need to bother with the use of liquid cod liver oils.

Unprecedented Purity: Our Omega–3’s exceed strict international standards for heavy metals, PCB’s, pesticides, dioxins. See www.morepa.com for proof.

Formulation: Optimal EPA:DHA ratios, no saturated fat used as filler, encapsulated in fish gelatin for optimal absorption.

Taste: No fishy after–taste, with added natural fruit flavors.

Smallest Environmental Footprint:Only fish oil to receive EMAS status, a very stringent European standard.

Minami Nutrition's “green” attitude is shown by the fact that it doesn’t obtain fish from over–fished waters—instead reeling them in from sustainable waters around Antartica and oceans. The oils are not treated by harsh chemicals like hexane that could be hazardous to the environment. And by using smaller fish, such as mackerel and sardines, the level of possible contaminants is significantly lowered. These reasons and more have resulted in Minami Nutrition receiving Eco–Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) status, a very stringe European environmental standard.

WHY BUY MorEPA?

When it comes to nutritional supplements, many people find that key ingredients for good health are omega–3 fats from fish oil. These compounds have been shown to lower the risk of heart disease by reducing triglycerides and inflammation, managing healthy cholesterol, as well as treating ADHD in kids and depression in adults. However, before you rush out to buy omega–3 supplements, it’s important to remember that not all omega–3 supplements are created equal.

For example, Minami Nutrition’s supplements have the highest concentration of omega–3 fatty acids that is commercially available, so people only have to take one capsule per day to receive benefits. Plus, if the fact that its products are the most pure on the market with undetectable levels of toxins is not enough, then the ability for the consumer to prove this, batch by batch, on their website has made fans out of the most skeptical person. The supplements even tackle the age–old problem of “fishy” aftertaste by adding such natural fruit flavors as orange and strawberry.

Additionally, while every fish oil supplement is manufactured using molecular distillation, Minami Nutrition uses its patented “supercritical” CO2 distillation extraction process. The procedure uses 400 percent less temperature with no oxygen exposure, which maintains Omega–3 integrity so they provide their full health benefit. In addition, this method ensures that there are no saturated fats—a far cry from 99 percent of fish oils sold in the U.S. that have unacceptable high levels of saturated fats that impede your body’s ability to use Omega–3s. Minami Nutrition’s own technology has resulted in awards from ConsumerLab.com as the highest concentrated Omega–3 product and abroad for the “best tasting” fish oil.

Support growth, function, vision and brain development, concentration and learning. (5 to 10 years). 240mg EPA & 35mg DHA per capsule

To support concentration and learning ability, helping to maintain a healthy immune system.

Each two capsules contains 490 mg EPA and 70 mg DHA. The extra gammalinolenic acid (20 mg) from evening primrose oil nourishes and protects the skin. Natural strawberry flavour.

MorEPA–Mini is a natural source of highly purified and concentrated omega–3 fatty acids derived from pharmacuetical–grade fish oil. Impurities such as mercury and PCBs have been removed through a series of highly technological processes as SFE/SFC (Supercritical Fluid Extraction/Chromatography) at low temperatures (below 50° C). Protective anti–oxidants have been added to MorEPA–mini.

A natural strawberry flavouring provides a pleasant taste. 100% of MorEPA, including the gelatine, has been manufacutred from deep–sea fish. MorEPA–mini Hi–EPA fish oil capsules contain high levels – at least 75%– of highly purified omega–3 fatty acids. Instead of taking lots of capsules of fish oil a day, you only have to take two capsules of MorEPA–mini. This means you can avoid the surplus fat that you would get from consuming ordinary fish oil.

This supplement is highly recommended since Western nutrition, on average, contains insufficient levels of EPA. Each soft capsule (net weight 432mg) contains at least 240mg EPA (approx) and 35mg DHA (approx), as well as 10mg evening primrose oil (GLA).

CASE STUDY

This is how Alexia’s night terrors were healed!

Alexia’s night terrors were so severe that she was a danger to herself every night. The doctors stood powerless and could not help. MorEPA came to the rescue – and now Alexia sleeps calmly again.

When Katarina Rolfhamre’s daughter Alexia was two years old, she was suddenly affected by night terrors. Before that, she always slept restlessly, perhaps because she was a little premature. She slept for two hours and then an attack would come on and Alexia would begin to scream hysterically and throw herself headlong in all directions.

Danger to herself

The attacks were so violent that Alexia was a danger to herself. Mum Katarina, who in her daily life is a district nurse with child health care centre (BVC) experience, says that the feeling of powerlessness was overwhelming.
– I could not wake her, make any kind of contact, but had to focus on life–saving measures. All I could do was to try and make sure that Alexia did not injure herself.
Katarina describes her daughter’s anguish as similar to seeing Edvard Munch’s well–known painting “The Scream”.
– It was terrible! Alexia was completely panic–stricken, as if she was locked in a closet with a pack of wild animals that were attacking her.

Unusually serious

Night terrors are a quite common phenomenon in small children. In the large majority of cases, the problems are sporadic, but Alexia had serious attacks a few times a week for several months.
– The whole family was affected negatively. We were completely exhausted. And I was also immensely worried whether Alexia might have some underlying medical problem because she was affected so badly.

The doctors carried out all possible examinations but did not find anything wrong. Katarina was told that the night terrors would go away over time. But this was of little comfort to an exhausted mum with a family who could not remember when was the last time that they had slept properly.

Sleeps calmly again

Last autumn one of Katarina’s friends recommended that she look for help in the health food store as she heard that specially selected Omega–3 fatty acids could help children with sleep problems. In the shop she was recommended MorEPA Mini that was specially developed for very small children.
– I was told about one mum whose daughter did not sleep more than a few hours every night and now slept through the whole night without problems. It sounded as if it was worth trying.
Katarina began to give Mor–EPA to Alexia and, at first, there was no difference at all. But then, after 3–4 weeks, it was as if something happened. The night terror attacks became increasingly rare and gradually disappeared completely. If she does indeed wake up now, it is much easier to distract her and she easily goes back to sleep.
– It is absolutely wonderful. Alexia is calm and happy and the rest of the family is well–rested!

What are night terrors?

Night terrors mean that the child has a fit of terror or anger after he has slept, usually during the first three hours of sleep. The child appears to be awake and can sit or stand up in the bed and scream hysterically or cry violently. He or she will be very upset and seem to be fighting somebody or something. The fits can appear from the age of 2 and up to the age of 10. They often last between 5 and 15 minutes. The child is not awake, but in deep sleep and will not react to your comforting attempts, but will instead push you away. Therefore, you should not try to wake or calm the child because it will often fight back and the fit will get worse. Stay close and make sure that the child does not harm itself. After the fit, the child will often sleep without waking up completely. The next day, children usually do not remember what happened.

Helps children with sleep disorders

MorEPA contains a unique combination of two essential fatty acids, EPA and DHA. Scientific studies show that the levels of these fatty acids (mainly EPA) is far too low in the brain of children who suffer from sleep disorders. Studies on adults have also shown that a low EPA level in the brain can disturb the natural production of melatonin, the substance that disturbs the diurnal rhythm.
– MorEPA contains purified and concentrated Omega–3 fatty acids from fish oil of the highest quality. The specially selected fatty acids are extremely easily accessible for the body. The soft capsule is made of fish gelatine, purified water and glycerol.
MorEPA is also intended for adults and adolescents. One capsule per day, preferably during a meal, provides the daily requirement of the Omega–3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. MorEPA Mini is suited to children and therefore comes in smaller capsules, of which children should take 2 capsules per day.

Go to school on an egg by Jane Feinmann

Source: http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/go-to-school-on-an-egg-505737.html

Key Comments:
“Could do better" was the mantra that regularly appeared on Elliot Best's school reports”

“Three years ago, he was eight years old and headed for educational mediocrity”

“In the space of a few weeks in 2002, however, all that changed.”

“…his reading age advanced 18 months and he gained top marks in his SAT tests”

“The catalyst for this apparently miraculous change was half a gram of fish oil, delivered daily”

“ he participated in the groundbreaking study to test the impact of a daily dose of omega-3 rich fish oil. Omega-3 is known to be essential for brain development and function, and largely missing in modern diets. ”

“The results showed an average increase of between 9.5 and 13.5 months in reading age when children were taking the supplement, with similar improvements in behaviour and spelling.”

“…researchers believed that DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) was the important fatty acid, as it is found in the structure of the brain. Increasingly, however, evidence points to EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) as playing a greater role in brain development and function.”

“EPA improves blood-flow to the brain, but it also helps to manufacture hormones that boost brain function - and, probably most importantly, acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent, boosting the immune system,” says Dr Richardson.

“Where supplements are needed, however, you should choose products clearly marked as marine fish oil with higher levels of EPA than DHA. The Durham trial used Eye Q, but Dr Richardson's latest trials use MorEPA, requires only two capsules daily instead of Eye Q's six.”
