Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour
Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour treats and prevents gingivitis (gum disease), gum ulceration, oral thrush and denture sores and can also be used for maintaining oral hygiene. It contains the active ingredient chlorhexidine digluconate, a disinfectant and antiseptic which reduces the formation of dental plaque and fights infection in the mouth.
Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour treats and prevents gingivitis (gum disease), gum ulceration, oral thrush and denture sores and can also be used for maintaining oral hygiene. It contains the active ingredient chlorhexidine digluconate, a disinfectant and antiseptic which reduces the formation of dental plaque and fights infection in the mouth.
Directions
- Gingivitis: Use as below for one month.
- Mouth ulcers and thrush: Use as below, continuing for 2 days after symptoms go.
- Denture sores: Use as below, also soak dentures for 15 minutes, twice a day.
- Use the solution only in the mouth. Do not swallow.
- Measure 10ml in the cup provided.
- Rinse the mouth thoroughly for about 1 minute, then spit out.
- Use twice a day.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredient: Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.2% w/v.
- Other Ingredients: Ethanol, castor oil polyoxyl hydrogenated, menthol, anise oil, aspartame (E951) and purified water. Alcohol content: 7% vol.
Cautions
- Once opened use within 28 days.
- Toothpastes may stop the mouthwash working properly if used immediately after the mouthwash. To prevent this use toothpaste first or at a different time of day and rinse your mouth before using the mouthwash.
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant, might be
- pregnant or are breastfeeding. Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour should not be used unless the doctor has told you to do so.
- Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine, which may be harmful for people with phenylketonuria.
- Care Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v Antiseptic Mouthwash Aniseed Flavour contains castor oil polyoxyl hydrogenated which may cause skin reactions.
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to chlorhexidine gluconate or any of the other ingredients
