Complan Stir-In Original Unflavoured 425g

Complan Stir-In is a fortified drink mix designed to help provide essential nutrients, when you're off your food. It provides 26 vitamins and minerals for health and vitality, including calcium, iron, antioxidant vitamins A, C and E and B vitamins. It also provides high-quality protein, making it ideal for helping you to recover fast from illness.

Complan Stir-In replaces the Complan Original and can be used to fortify your favourite foods and drinks with extra calories, protein, vitamins and minerals in order to include extra balanced nutrition, whilst still enjoying a normal diet. Add extra nutrients to your preferred soups and stews by simply sprinkling in Complan Stir-in and mixing.

Why Use Complan?

Complan is ideal if you or someone in your family:

  • Has a recent, unplanned weight loss.
  • Is recovering from illness or surgery.
  • Cannot eat solid foods or has dental problems.

Directions


  1. Add four rounded tablespoons (around 60g) of Stir-In Complan to a small amount of water or milk, then using a fork or whisk blend into a paste.
  2. You can add the Stir-In paste to stews, gravies, desserts, custards, sauces or if you want to use it as a drink, top it up with a further 200ml of water or milk (whichever you used to make the paste).
  3. If you don’t want it straightaway, it’ll keep in the fridge for 24 hours.

Complan Original is gluten free and is suitable for vegetarians and those on a halal diet. It is free from artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Cautions

Complanis a dietary supplement. Dietary supplements are not meant to be the sole source of nutrition, so always seek advice from a doctor or nutritionist if you have a poor appetite or trouble eating.

Store in a cool, dry place. Stir-In should be used within 2 months of opening. Once made up with milk or water, Complan can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. People with diabetes should consult their dietitian or doctor before including Complan as part of their diet.
