Corsodyl Spray

Corsodyl Spray features a handy pump action nozzle for people needing to target specific areas of the mouth that may otherwise be difficult to reach, or who are unable to, or prefer not to, use mouthwash. The active ingredient is chlorhexidine digluconate, an antibacterial agent that kills the bacteria that causes plaque within 30 seconds and forms a protective layer over the teeth and gums to prevent plaque build up for up to 12 hours.

As well as being clinically proven to treat gingivitis, the first stage of gum disease, this mint flavoured spray can also be used to control mouth ulcers, maintain mouth hygiene, manage oral thrush and denture sore mouth and promote gum healing after dental surgery or treatment.

Directions

  • Remove cap and fit the pump head to the bottle.
  • Use up to 12 pump actions twice daily (each pump action delivers 0.14 ml of spray).
  • Spray tooth and gum surfaces, ulcers or other sore areas.
  • Remove pump head after use and replace cap.
Length of treatment:
  • Gum disease: One month course (one to two spray packs) is recommended.
  • Mouth ulcers and oral thrush: Continue to use for 2 days after healing has occurred.
  • Denture sore mouth: Dentures should also be cleaned and then sprayed with Corsodyl Spray.
  • Dental surgery: Use as directed by your dentist.

If your symptoms persist, see your dentist.

Ingredients

  • Active Ingredient: Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% w/v.
  • Other Ingredients: Ethanol 7% v/v, Macrogolglycerol Hydroxystearate, Sorbitol, Peppermint Oil and Water.
