Covonia Dry Cough Sugar Free Formula

Covonia Dry Cough Sugar Free Formula relieves the symptoms of dry or irritating coughs in adults and children over 12 years. It contains pholcodine, which reduces the desire to cough.

Covonia Dry Cough Sugar Free Formula is a thick red liquid that smells of menthol and aniseed.

Directions

Shake the bottle and take the solution by mouth.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: take one or two 5ml spoonfuls, three or four times a day. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Children under 12 years: Do not give unless your doctor tells you to.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients (per 5ml): Pholcodine 5mg.
Other Ingredients: Citric Acid Monohydrate (E330), Sodium Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E217, E219), Glycerol (E422), Ethanol, Amaranth Dye (E123), Saccharin Sodium, Carmellose Sodium, Menthol, Condensed Milk Flavour, Aniseed Flavour and Purified Water.

Cautions

Do not take with other cough and cold medicines.
Contains small doses of ethanol (alcohol) - less than 100mg per 10ml.
May cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

Do not take Covonia Dry Cough Sugar Free Formula if:

You are allergic to any of the ingredients.
You are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding.
You have liver disease.
You have shallow breath or breathing difficulties.
You have chest problems or chest infections for a long time.
You have an asthma attack.
You have taken MAOIs for depression within the last two weeks.
You are under 12 years old.
