Cymalon Granules provide effective relief from the burning pain and stinging of cystitis in women. They contain sodium citrate to help neutralise the acidity of urine during an attack of cystitis, thus relieving the burning pain and irritation. To make an attack of cystitis more manageable, simply take Cymalon Granules as soon as you feel those first warning signs of cystitis.
Cymalon Granules come in a pack of 6 handy sachets, which is one complete treatment.

Directions
Drink one sachet mixed with water, three times a day for two days. Even if your symptoms ease within a few hours, you should take the whole course of six sachets to complete the treatment.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredients: Sodium Citrate 2.82g, Citric Acid (Anhydrous) 1.06g, Sodium Bicarbonate 1.2g, Sodium Carbonate.0.13g. (sodium equivalent 1g/sachet).
- Other Ingredients: Caster Sugar, Sodium Saccharin, Lemon Flavour Natural.
Cautions
- If you have symptoms which carry on for more than 4 days after you start taking Cymalon or your symptoms keep recurring, talk to your doctor.
- Cymalon Granules contain 1047mg of sodium per sachet. This should be taken into consideration if you are on a controlled sodium diet.
- Cymalon Granules contain sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars or have diabetes, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
- You are a man or child. Talk to your doctor if you are a man or child with cystitis-like symptoms.
- If you have an allergy to citric acid (anhydrous), sodium citrate, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate or any of the other ingredients.
- If you are pregnant.
- You suffer from heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney disease.
- You have a diet in which salt intake is restricted.
- Lithium for manic depression.
- Methenamine (previously called hexamine) for urinary infections.
- Any other medicines as these may be affected by taking Cymalon Granules.
