Panadol Period Pain Tablets

Panadol Period Pain Tablets
provide fast, effective relief from period pain and other conditions that require extra pain relief such as headache, migraine, toothache, backache and rheumatic pain. They also help to reduce temperature and relieve the aches and pains associated with cold and flu.

Panadol Period Pain Tablets
contain the painkiller paracetamol, as well as caffeine to support the effectiveness of the paracetamol for rapid relief when you need it most. The unique OptiZorb formulation allows them to be absorbed quicker than standard paracetamol and caffeine tablets, whilst being gentle on the stomach.
  • Adults and children over 12 years: Swallow 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours and do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Children under 12 years: Do not give.
  • Active Ingredients: Paracetamol 500mg and Caffeine 65mg.
  • Other Ingredients: Starch Pregelatinised, Povidone K-25, Calcium Carbonate, Crospovidone, Alginic Acid, Magnesium Stearate and Sodium Methyl (E219), Sodium Ethyl (E215) and Sodium Propyl (E217) Parahydroxybenzoates. The tablet coating contains Titanium Dioxide (E171), Hypromellose, Macrogol, Polysorbate 80 and Carnauba Wax.
  • Do not take with any other paracetamol-contaning products.
  • Avoid too much caffeine in drinks like tea and coffee. High caffeine intake can cause difficulty sleeping, shaking and an uncomfortable feeling in the chest.
Do not take Panadol Period Pain Tablets:
  • If you have ever had an allergic reaction to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, due to the caffeine content.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Panadol Period Pain Tablets if you are taking any prescribed medicines, particularly:
  • Metoclopramide or domperidone (for nausea or vomiting).
  • Colestyramine (to lower blood cholesterol).
  • If you are taking blood thinning drugs (anticoagulants e.g. warfarin) and you need to take a pain reliever on a daily basis, due to the risk of bleeding. You can still take occasional doses of Panadol Period Pain Tablets at the same time as anticoagulants.
