Beaphar Insecticidal Shampoo for Dogs
Suitable for dogs from 12 weeks of age, Beaphar Insecticidal Shampoo for Dogs is a licensed veterinary medicine containing Permethrin that kills fleas fast and helps to prevent reinfestation while also cleansing and maintaining a healthy coat.
Fleas will often infest the pet's basket, bedding and regular resting areas, including carpets and soft furnishings so it is recommended that these areas are treated with a suitable household insecticide, like Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray, and vacuumed regularly.
Directions
It is advisable to wear gloves when using this product.
Gently wet your dog's coat with lukewarm water. Using the suggested dose in the table below, massage the shampoo into the coat, taking care to avoid sensitive areas, such as the eyes, mouth and ears.
Work into a good lather, especially around the neck area and the base of the tail where fleas tend to gather.
Rinse carefully with lukewarm water and then dry your pet. Keep indoors until completely dry.
Suggested Shampoo Dose
- Small Breeds: 20–30ml
- Medium Breeds: 40–50ml
- Large Breeds: 50–60 ml
Use the larger volume for long coats.

Cautions
- For external use only.
- Avoid prolonged contact with skin.
- It is advisable to wear gloves whilst using this product.
- Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse well with clean fresh water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice.
- Treated animals should not be allowed to sleep or play with people, particularly children, until animal is dry.
- Keep away from food and drink including animal feeding stuffs.
- Wash hands and exposed skin after use.
- Wash any containers used thoroughly.
- Replace cap.
- DO NOT USE ON CATS, NURSING BITCHES OR PUPPIES LESS THAN 12 WEEKS OF AGE.
- If signs of disease persist or develop consult your veterinarian.
