Beaphar Worming Syrup
Beaphar Worming Syrup is a licenced veterinary medicine that treats roundworm in puppies and kittens from two weeks of age. Most puppies and kittens are born with roundworms, and can continue to be infected whilst suckling their mothers so is important that puppies and kittens should be routinely treated for roundworm at 2 weeks of age, then again at 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks. Thereafter, they can be treated routinely at two to three monthly intervals (the same as adult dogs and cats).
Beaphar Worming Syrup has a pet friendly chocolate-flavour making it easy to administer an is ideal for treating whole litters of kittens and puppies.
Directions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.
Weigh your kitten or puppy carefully and follows direction of use in the instructions to ensure the correct dose.
- Give 1 pump of Beaphar Worming Syrup per 0.9kg of bodyweight.
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Remove the lid and fit the dispensing pump.
- Prime the pump by slowly depressing the plunger five times.
- Once primed, each depression of the plunger will give enough Worming Syrup for every 0.9 kg that your pet weighs.
You may prefer to give your pet their syrup by applying it into the corner of their mouth, being careful not to spill or allow any to dribble out, or by mixing it with a little food. The remainder of the meal should be given afterwards to ensure that all the syrup has been taken. Alternatively, mix the syrup with a little milk.
Kittens and puppies: Treat at 2 weeks of age and retreat every two weeks until they are 12 weeks old, thereafter they can be treated at three monthly intervals.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Do not use in kittens and puppies under 2 weeks of age.
Do not use simultaneously with any other worming products.

- Do not use in kittens and puppies under 2 weeks of age.
- Do not use simultaneously with any other worming products.
- Do not repeat dosing if vomiting occurs shortly after administration.
- Do not use in sick or convalescent animals.
- Do not use in pregnant queens or bitches.
- Consult your veterinary surgeon before treating cats or dogs with a history of epilepsy or renal dysfunction.
- If signs of disease persist or appear, always consult your veterinary surgeon.
- In case of accidental human ingestion, drink plenty of water, seek medical advice and show the packet or leaflet to the doctor.
- Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Wash hands after administration.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
