PlaqueOff Powder
PlaqueOff Powder is a completely natural pet dental product made from seaweed that can significantly help reduce dental plaque and tartar, reduce bacterial presence and improve breath in dogs. It has been internationally patented and clinically tested.
It is estimated 85% of dogs and 70% of cats over 3 years show signs of gum disease, the major cause of tooth loss, but unfortunately dental care is one of the most overlooked health issues that pet owners concern themselves with. As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly forms in the mouth of all cats and dogs. Once plaque has calcified into tartar it can no longer be brushed off, and in many cases it has to be removed by a vet using ultrasound and anaesthetic.
If tartar build-up is left untreated it can result in bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay and premature tooth loss. Tartar that is allowed to remain for too long can also cause infections that can spread throughout the body and damage the heart, lung, liver and negatively affect kidney functions.
PlaqueOff Powder provides a simple and effective solution to improving your pet's oral health, as daily brushing can be difficult to achieve.
Unlike most other plaque control products that are applied directly on the teeth, PlaqueOff Powder comes in powder that is sprinkled on your pet's food. When the ingredients are absorbed into the blood via the digestion and enters the saliva, they effectively prevent accumulation of plaque by affecting the ability of plaque to 'stick' to surfaces in the mouth. Existing tartar becomes porous, looses by itself or can be easily removed by brushing or cleaning.
Improvements can usually be seen as early as after 3 to 8 weeks of use .
PlaqueOff Powder is available in 3 sizes:
- 60g: ideal for small or medium sized dogs (a single pot will last approximately 6 months for a 10kg dog)
- 180g: ideal for households with 2 or more large dogs (25kg +) / 3 or more medium dogs (10–25kg).
- 420g: ideal for people owning a larger number of dogs, e.g. breeders or owners of dog related businesses.

Cautions
A dose contains 330mg. Dogs having problems with the thyroid gland must be careful with their intake of iodine. Since seaweed, including our unique ingredient, have a naturally high iodine content, we do not recommend that dogs with thyroid problems use this product.
