Description

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is a versatile cream that treats nappy rash, cuts, grazes, minor burns, bed sores, chilblains, acne, eczema and sunburn, making it indipsensable for parents to have around. Suitable for the whole family, the gentle formula won't sting on application. It can reduce the risk of infection and contains a mild local anaesthetic to soothe pain. It also helps a wound to heal and forms a protective barrier over the vulnerable area.

The Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream formula has remained the same since 1931. The key ingredient are:
  • Zinc oxide: reduces the loss of tissue fluid.
  • Benzyl benzoate and benzyl cinnamate: ingredients of Peru Balsam (an aromatic resin extracted from the plant Myroxylon balsamum pereirae, known for its healing properties).
  • Anhydrous hypoallergenic lanolin: an emollient which soothes and softens skin.
  • Benzyl alcohol: this has local anaesthetic and antiseptic properties that help to reduce discomfort.

Directions

Nappy rash
  1. Ensure your baby’s bottom is clean and dry.
  2. With clean and dry hands, place a small amount of Sudocrem on the tip of your finger. Remember, a little goes a long way
  3. Gently massage the cream into the skin using light, circular movements. Try to avoid rubbing, especially if the skin looks sore
  4. Try to create a thin, translucent film on the skin. If white cream is still visible then you may have used too much (don’t worry, your baby will be fine, just remember to use a little less next time)
  5. Repeat these steps until the rash has cleared. Then apply Sudocrem Care & Protect at every change to help prevent nappy rash.

Other uses
