Xailin Gel
Xailin Gel provides long lasting relief from dry eye sensations such as soreness, irritation or a gritty sensation by lubricating and protecting the eye, providing cooling and soothing relief.
Directions
- Wash hands thoroughly before use.
- Remove the cap from the tube by lifting the tab on the anti-tamper collar to the cap and peeling the collar off.
- Tilt the head back and pull the lower lid of the eye to form a pocket.
- Hold the tube vertically, upside down, and squeeze gently until a drop forms at the end of the tube.
- Place this drop in your eye without touching the eye with the end of the tube.
- Blink two to three times to spread the gel evenly over the eye and wipe away any excess gel from around the eyelids.
- Close the tube making sure that you do not touch the tip of the tube on any surface (including the fingers).
- One drop of the product is instilled into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily or as required, depending on the discomfort and relief obtained.
- The treatment duration can be extended beyond 30 days following consultation with a doctor.
Ingredients
Each gram contains: Carbomer 980 2mg, Cetrimide 0.1mg, Sorbitol 40mg, Sodium hydroxide 0.84mg, Water for injections q.s.
Cautions
- Do not use if the tube or the security seal is damaged.
- Contact lenses should not be worn during instillation of the product.
- After instillation there should be an interval of at least 30 minutes before reinsertion.
- In case of any additional local ocular administration, there should be an application interval of at least 5 minutes between the use of the two products and Carbomer Gel should be the last product instilled.
- Do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube in order to avoid scratching the eye or contaminating the product.
- Replace lid (cap) gently after using the tube; do not overtighten the cap.
- Do not use the product if allergic to any of the ingredients.
- For external use only.
- A mild transient burning sensation, sticky eyelid, and blurred vision after instillation of the gel have been occasionally reported.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- Store below 30° C.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date or 30 days after frst opening.
- If the problem does not improve within 2 days or worsens at any time, consult your doctor.
- If the problem persists for more than 30 days, consult your doctor.
