Neocate LCP
Neocate LCP is a nutritionally complete hypoallergenic infant feed for the management of cow's milk, multiple food protein intolerance and conditions where an elemental diet is recommended. It provides all the nutrients an infant requires for their development and can be used in combination with breast milk and/or diet during or after weaning or as a sole source of nutrition.
Infants prescribed Neocate LCP have been shown to have fast and effective relief from symptoms, with significant improvement of eczema and other symptoms within 3 days and increased weight and complete resolution of symptoms within 14 days.
Neocate LCP contains no cow's milk protein and is packaged in a cow's milk-free environment, thefore reducing the possibility of a reaction in babies allergic to this protein. It is amino-acid based with long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC PUFAs), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA) and is the only Amino Acid Formula that:

Directions
The quantity of feed and the dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only and is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the infant
Powdered infant formula is not sterile and should be prepared immediately prior to feeding. Shake or stir formula immediately before use. Formula should not be warmed for longer than 15 minutes prior to feeding. Do not boil formula and do not use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula.

- Wash hands thoroughly and clean preparation area. Sterilise bottles and teats.
- Boil fresh water for 5 minutes and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes so that it feels warm to the wrist. Pour the required amount of water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
- Fill the scoop provided with Neocate LCP and level off with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop. Only use the scoop provided (target scoop weight is 4.6g).
- Add the prescribed number of scoops of Neocate LCP to the water. Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves. Before feeding, ensure that the formula is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist.
- Formula remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded. Formula must not be re-warmed during feeding.
- Cover and store open can in a cool dry place.
- Use within one month.
- Store unopened cans at room temperature.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
